Motionshine drifts between the tangible and the ethereal. A collection of evocative images that merge seamlessly with electronic textures and flute sounds to create an immersive audiovisual experience. The title „Motionshine“ is a track of the new album „Face Against Sky“ that is a collection of sonic mirages where electronic textures meet the breath of ancient woodwinds and ghostly voices. The cover photograph by Corinna Rosteck and its reflections blur the boundary between sky and surface. Franziska Salker’s recorders adds an organic dimension to the album with breathy voices that merge seamlessly with Mario Verandi’s sounds. „Face Against Sky“ exists in a liminal space. It is a deeply textural, evocative work.
